Abstract:

In this program we are going to look at dipole，hydrogen，Van der Waals and metallic bonds. In this arrangement of atoms making up acetic acid，there is a very strong covalent bond holding the atoms together. There is another weaker bond called a hydrogen bond holding these molecules in pairs or dimers，and there is a still weaker force called Van der Waals between the dimers.
