Let us take you back to a time before people lived in cities. When small groups roamed the country, fighting each other for land and honour. A time when the country was ruled by lords and the knights who fought for them. A time when the only safety was behind the walls of great fortresses. These are the Middle Ages — the time of knights and castles. Castles come in all shapes and sizes but they all share a common purpose, keeping the invaders out and protecting the people inside.
