Mary helped her parents on cotton fields as a little girl. Both Mary’s parents have been slaves. Mary got well-educated at seven. She devoted herself to education after she grew up. Between 1923 and 1942,Mary established her own school — Bethune College which still can be found today. In this program we shall show you some of the things this remarkable lady accomplished, some of the problems she faced and how she solved them.
