No civilization apart from Greek has had the great impact on the western world as Rome's， and still today in hundreds of different ways. The Romans invented very little for themselves. They looked to the Greeks for their culture. First they copied and then they adopted. Our civilizations is built on the foundations of the past， what we are building today will be legacies for tomorrow.
