Bioscience:Australian Animals
There are many different types of animals in Australia. Echidnas mainly feed on fat and juicy termites. The platypus uses its long rubbery bill to forage for worms and grubs. The cockatoo has evolved a strong beak which can pull trees apart and eats caterpillar. Koalas only have gum leaves. The emu chooses seeds or tender plants as its food. And we still have the wombat, the dingo, and maybe the most famous of them, the kangaroo.
