Art:Narrative Structures
A narrative is the unique way in which the author assembles the story elements and presents it to an audience. The joke is one of the most common narratives, but as you may know, some people are better at telling them than others. This is because people who can tell jokes have assembled a better narrative than the people who can't tell a joke. All good narratives can be split into three acts: a beginning, a middle and an end.
