Physics:Polarization of Light
A polarizing filter is most often used to cut down unwanted reflections from a transparent surface. However there are many more aspects to polarization of light. Ants use polarized light in the sky to navigate. Polarization is compelling evidence that light must exist as transverse waves. If we sent a transverse wave of any type through a grill， it can only oscillate one way to pass through.
