That waking nightmare is a reality for one out of every 20,000 children born each year. It's a condition called osteogenesis imperfecta or brittle bone disease. Young people with the condition often didn't survive childhood, but a new treatment discovered in Montreal is giving hope to those who thought there would never be light at the end of the tunnel.
