History:Cologne Cathedral
Cologne Cathedral is the most impressive Gothic structure in Germany and the breathtaking hallmark of the city. Completed in 1880， its construction took a staggering 632 years. When it was finished， this huge cathedral was the tallest edifice in the world: an architectural milestone which even surpassed the Gothic buildings of the French masters of the style.
