Crocodiles have always inspired all in humans but their strength, their cold-blooded ferocity and their mastery of alien element. But there is another reason to respect them — they are social animals, hunting in organized packs, killing as effectively in the water as wolves live on land. Among those top predators in Africa, they have always been the ruler in the tropical fresh water, one hunting ground that no other predators can master.
