Bioscience:Mozambique: A Biological Adventure
A European scientific expedition is landing on a beach in Mozambique. They are here with the blessings of the local government. What they do could have important consequences for us all. A team made up of 15 French scientists and technicians have come here to explore coast reefs in Africa to protect indwelling fish stocks to mangroves by the sea, or new species of Africa insects are being discovered, and down to the coral beds whether these sponges may provide our next line of defense against cancer and other diseases.
