Butterflies grow up quite differently from humans. They look completely different when they are young. They're like this: a wriggling， fat-eating machine called a caterpillar. And as they get closer to becoming an adult， their shape can look even more gross. It hangs about， changing shape inside its casing. This stage is called a chrysalis. Finally， that incredible chrysalis bursts， and out comes a butterfly!
