Bioscience:Microworlds — Secrets of Spider
It's night time. Something is moving busily in midair. It's a golden silk spider. This is one of the larger species of spiders, with a body about two and a half centimetres long. It's extruding thread from its abdomen and building a web. The spider completes its web by building a foothold at the hub. It's here that it will take up its waiting position.
