Art:Playing the Part: Characters and Actors in Drama
Writers do have many choices when they come to developing characters. The people of their place can be anything from flat or one-dimensional to fully-developed round characters or any variation in between. No matter where the character fits in this spectrum, each has been carefully chosen to fulfill the needs of the play. And nowhere is this done more successfully than in Shakespeare's Hamlet.
