Art:Twelfth Night
For Shakespeare’s audience, Malvolio was a dig of the Puritans. They were selfish bunch of religious zealous out to spoil everyone fun before they close down the theatres to ban dancing, to cancel Christmasy. Not surprisingly, they were much hated and mocked. So, Shakespeare makes Malvolio the Puritan character that held the critical self-important busy body. In this program, we shall have a deep anaylsis of this character in Shakespeare's play.
