Physics:Hitting the Ball: Bio-Mechanics Part 1
Baseball, Cricket, Softball, Golf, Tennis, Squash, all require hitting the ball. Many elements go into the simple activity of hitting the ball: stance and footwork, eye-hand coordination and control, form, weight transfer, rotation, timing and anticipation, flight of the ball, the bounce and spin, positioning, cooridantion, anticipation, strength and power. Surprisingly enough, hitting the ball is skill which comes with practice. The more you practice, the more you learn.
