Material Chemistry:Food Additives
More and more of the food that we buy nowadays has been processed in various ways and much of it contains food additives. Almost every time we cook we add foods to other foods. So could we call any type of food an additive? There is a distinction between additives and what we generally call ingredients, although sometimes it's a little unclear. Additives are in food in fairly small quantities and they're not substances that you'd normally eat by themselves.
