Design:Mighty Machines: In the Forest
A feller buncher is used to cut down trees. There is a round thing on the bottom — the saw. When it spins, it can cut through a tree like a hot knife through butter. The arms of the feller grasp onto the tree and hold on to it, so the tree doesn't fall over and get damaged. And fellers run on tracks, not wheels. Tracks work really well in the forest because they can go over rough ground. In this program, we'll know how a feller works in the forest.
