There are many different metals， and we choose the metal with the properties best suiting our needs. This tower is steel for strength， coated with zinc for corrosion protection. The blades are aluminium for lightness corrosion resistance. The electric cables are copper because it is a good conductor. Jewellery must stay shiny and not cause skin reactions so is made of gold， or platinum.
