Environment:Saving the Spider Monkey

For the past ten years, Adelina Schutt and her assistant Eldemo Benjorano have been running the Curu refuge and its program of reinserting the spider monkey into Costa Rica. Like many other animal species, the spider monkey was threatened with extinction and the protection of guards like Adelina Schutt represents their only chance of survival. Fortunately at the very bottom of the wild life protection ladder, there are men and women who struggle with great dedication to protect the animals emblematic of their region.
