Environment:Coastal Processes and Landforms
The coastline is the scene of an ongoing battle between land and sea. But like all battles, this one ebbs and flows and as it does so, the shape of the coastline changes. Each feature of the coastline serves as a record of the ongoing battle. By looking carefully at these features, we can see how the processes of erosion, transportation and deposition have shaped them over many years.
