Environment:Chemistry of the Environment

Environmental chemistry is the study of substances and reactions that affect the environment. In this program we are going to look at water and its ability to support life. We will look at out atmosphere and the chemicals that can pollute it. Then we will follow scientists at a Papua New Guinean gold mine as they carry out an environmental impact study.
