Environment:Science Shack —— What Are We Going to Do If the Oil Runs Out?

As a sophisticated chap of the 21st century, I have become accustomed to a few little luxuries, like champagne, chilled to a perfect 4 degrees Celsius in my electric fridge. Hot water for my bottle bath, heated to a luxurious 40 degrees by gas, and of course the plastic of the bath itself which comes from oil. But in the future, all that could change; what are we going to do if the oil runs out. To be precise, how can I recreate this idyllic scene without using a drop of oil or any other fossil fuel, that is the challenge.
