Decoration:The Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the hallmarks of America and probably the most famous bridge in the world. Built in 1937， it has come to symbolize the gateway to America's Golden West. Joseph B. Strauss， an engineer of German descent， was celebrated as the father of the Golden Gate Bridge when the project was completed. But by now it was recognized that the kudos should not be his alone. Construction of the Golden Gate Bridge was teamwork.
