The silk that nature produces has always inspired people. The threads of the silkworm have been harvested and processed for centuries. But we are human， and we want more and better. So we make artificial silk， viscose， rayon， nylon， and Dralon. And we're inordinately proud of what we create with these things. But we also want strong threads. So we invented twaron and kevlar， two super-strong synthetic fabrics that can withstand bullets. Yet there's always room for improvement. So the search goes on.
