Astronomy:The Story of Aviation
Less in a century since the birth of powered aeroplane, men's mastery of the sky is all but complete. Millions of air passengers fly to their destinations all over the world. Military and even some civil air craft exceed the speed of sound, while the helicopter offers incomparable maneuverability and control. Today with traveling in space taken for granted as just one more achievement of more conquering technology, it is difficult to imagine the scale of the challenge faced by the pioneers of aviation. In this program, we'll review human's flying history.
