Astronomy:Stardust
All across the universe, throughout billions of galaxies, stars live out their lived as others are born. Inside huge, dark clouds of gas, a star suddenly ignites. But why? We are trying to understand how stars are formed. The problem is so vast that nobody has a single answer. Yet, our own sun has given astronomers clues to the mysteries of the life of stars. We don't know what we may find. We owe our lives to our local star, but we are also connected to the violent demise of distant stars. It really is true that the whole of the Earth and everybody on it is just a product of stardust. Stardust is the lives and times of a billion stars.
