Transportation:Superships——Vasco da Gama
The mega dredger Vasco da Gama is the world's largest trailing hopper suction dredger — a vessel that can literally move mountains of sand, clay and gravel. In countries where oceanfront land is in short supply, people are searching for it in a very strange place — deep beneath the sea. An armada of ocean bottom dredgers is sucking up millions of cubic metres of sand to create airports, housing sites and container terminals.
