Society:Critical Listening
Listening is one of our most critical skills. It is in fact our first language activity, because as babies we learned through listening, so its very important to our understanding and communication. When you listen critically, you find out the speaker's real intention. You need to put yourself in the speaker's shoes, and find out what it is they want to say, who they are saying it to, and what their attitude or purpose might be.
