Society:The Sherpas of Nepal
400 to 500 years ago people from eastern Tibet moved into the unpopulated valleys of eastern Nepal. They're known as the Sherpas. Living in the shadow of Mt Everest, Sherpas have adapted well to life amongst the world's highest mountains. Their daily activities are strongly influenced by the extremes of Himalayan altitude and climate. Compared to the past, their life style has changed a lot now.
